Spacious, newly renovated suite with well-equipped kitchenette. Great location, within walking and easy driving distance of many great restaurants and shopping. Right across from the Del Mar Racetrack with easy freeway and beach access. Lovely grounds with heated pool, spa, bbq area and fire ring. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

This place has a great location, right across from Del Mar Racetrack and in the middle of all kinds of restaurants and shopping in Del Mar and Solana Beach. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with upgraded bathrooms and a kitchenette. Sliders open from the bedroom and living rooms to a balcony which is very relaxing. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The grounds have a ton of amenities to make longer stays pleasant.

Reviewing the 1 king bed suite with 2 bathrooms. Kitchenette was handy for snacks & meals in the room. Spacious room with separate living room off of bedroom was a nice change versus typical hotel room. Bathrooms were average size with above average water pressure and plenty of warm water in showers, could have been due to slower time at resort.
Only slight downfall was 1st floor room close to adjacent road. Some traffic noise during day with patio doors open, not noticeable with room fan on at night.
Noticed one guest complaining about lack of room service during stay. We knew this going in, so a non-issue for us.
Would definitely stay again!

My wife and I are owners at this property and enjoy the location. Lots of places to shop and dine within a short drive. We were excited when these units were renovated, but we're disappointed in the results. Cosmetically, the units are attractive and well equipped. However, the Devil is in the detail and that's where management failed. The lighting in the bathrooms falls short of inadequate. You can barely find your face in the mirror as a result; one light over the mirror has been deemed adequate. My wife loves to enjoy a relaxing bath, but this is tough because the bathroom light and fan are on one switch. So the fan is always on if the light is on and the fan sounds a bit like a helicopter winding up for take off. Another reviewer alluded to the heating/air units. They are noisy and pump air into the bedroom only. So the bedroom temperature is usually significantly hotter or cooler than the living room/kitchen. The bath off the living room has no heating vent and the door did not want to stay open. The result was that when the bedroom was 72 the temperature in the bathroom was closer to 60. My career placed me in hotel rooms for 1000+ nights. So I do understand hotels needs for energy conservation and budgets. I also know that neither the bathroom fans or a/c system in a Courtyard or Residence Inn will keep you awake at night. It's really unfortunate that management decided to cut corners in a way that a guests' comfort is less than satisfactory.

We are owners here and have not been to property in years (trade often). We were pleasantly surprised with the updated and modern furnishings. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Appreciated the housekeeping stopping by daily to check (cleaned 2x during week). Fresh towels were always available. Pool heated so swimmers were in daily (December). We used hot tub and new exercise equipment room. Restaurants were excellent and adjoining property. Groceries available within 1mile. Free laundry room on site. San Diego within 30min drive. Will return!
