This hotel is fairly new, so it feels clean and modern. Rooms are spacious, grounds are attractive. Pool and spa are nice. There is only a marsh behind the place, and a walking trail, so it is very quiet. Juice & pastry delivered to the room in the morning. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and pleasant. I would choose this place over the cookie-cutter hotel at the other end of town. If you go mid-week, rates are even more reasonable. I rated it Excellent for value offered in this price range.

This Inn is a real find! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the TV reception is outstanding. The grounds are beautiful. Location couldn't be better, just a short walk to Sebastopol's restaurants and shops. They have coffee makers in the rooms but also try the Coffe Catz Cafe a hundred yards away. So reasonable and the gentleman at the front desk is very helpful. We'll stay there again.

After searching the internet for a moderately priced but comfortable hotel in wine country, I happened on this lovely inn in Sonoma Valley. It was a beautiful surprise with large, comfortable rooms which included homey touches and bathrobes, which made using the outdoor jacuzzi a pleasure (too cool to use the swimming pool). There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, and we recommend Alice's Restaurant about 3 blocks away. The outdoor hallways are wide enough to feature large benches and the flowers around the grounds were gorgeous. The desk person (owner?) advised us on a drive through Armstrong Woods, a state park of redwoods, and that was a fantastic, mountain-climbing drive which was an excellent adventure. We will definitely return to this Inn and stay here, rather than in San Francisco.

When looking for a home in the area, we stayed at the Sebastopol Inn twice. Not only was the first stay welcoming, but the second time we visited, they remembered us, gave gifts to our children, and left a welcome basket for us in our room. They gave us a packet of information about the town, how to get around, and what to do. It is near a lovely coffee shop, is a short walk to town, and near numerous restaurants, theatres and shops. Across the parking lot is a new and wonderful wine bar. Sebastopol Inn is just the kind of place one would expect in a hip, yet polished small town that is Sebastopol. It is one of the many reasons we moved here!
