We stayed here because we wanted to be close to the start of a double century my husband was planning to ride on his bike. We picked it because of the proximity to the starting point and I have to say at $150/night, it was the most expensive hotel room we've stayed at for our cycling adventures. The room was very big, the proprietor was very nice and the location was terrific. It's not the most up to date hotel nor luxurious and at that price you'd expect something more fancy but it's the only hotel in Sebastopol so we didn't have much of a choice. I would have given 5 stars if it was cheaper, I just thought it was a bit pricey for what we got.

Great location, but only a so-so hotel. We had booked a room on the first floor as my wife and I are disabled and climbing stairs is difficult. Called ahead to make sure our room would be held for us as we'd be arriving in the evening. "No problem! We're here 24-7!" But when we arrived at 7:30 pm, we found they'd given someone else our first-floor room, a second-floor room was now ours, all other rooms were occupied and we could take it or leave it. We were tired and took it , leaving us to negotiate the stairs for the duration of our trip. No apologies offered and no discount given. It was not a pleasant stay.

Stayed here to attend a dance festival in Sebastopol. Great location for the event I was attending, which meant I didn't have to fork out for cabs everywhere, or car hire. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Also within walking distance of the town centre, where there a some lovely shops and small eateries. Great coffee shop just outside which does good breakfasts. Only downside was the wi-fi, which was annoyingly sporadic.

Our stay at this motel, was enhanced by an updrade provided by the owner without us asking. The room was large, quiet and offered a patio and scenic view. We swam in the heated pool and had use of a refrigerator and microwave. We will definitely go back.

We stayed here to go see the Animal Liberation Orchestra at the HopMonk Tavern and have no complaints. The HopMonk is about a 5 minute walk away, and the hotel is very nice although not cheap ($133/night). But you get what you pay for, the rooms are big and nice, and unlike most hotels, the TV actually has a comcast cable box so you get the comcast guide and a lot of of TV channels (~70) which is a great way to end a night of rocking out to some great tunes.

Basic rooms in a motel layout, this is a great location for exploring wineries in the area. Friendly helpful staff and inexpensive rates help.
