The rooms are big, and the decor is classy. The only thing I don't like is that the water pressure in the shower isn't very good. It's also difficult to get the proper temperate of the water. You either freeze yourself or scald yourself if you're not careful. The breakfast is good, but if I could convince the guy to make me a ham and cheese omelet, it would be better. No bacon either, only sausage. For the most part it's a great hotel in a great location. I've stayed several times and had a great experience each time.

Room Tip: The king rooms have a living room area. It's like a junior suite.

Dear GIKimber,

Thank you so much for choosing us for your stay and for taking the time to write a review of our property! Your comments are very much valued.

In regards to your recent stay, I would like to offer my most sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced with the shower temperature gauge. Please know that I have looked into this issue with our maintenance team to ensure that it does not occur in the future.

Nevertheless, we loved reading your wonderful remarks about our European boutique inspired decor, spacious rooms and our specialty breakfast. Thank you for continuing to return to our hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Thank you again for your thoughtful review!

Warm Regards,

Steve DeLugo

Went out for a wedding and the hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. The honored a request to have me close to my mom's room and when she said she was afraid of slipping in the tub a staff member went out and bought a brand new Rubbermaid bath mat! We all enjoyed the breakfasts, pool, and patio. Wish they had these hotels in New England where I live.

My wife and I stay here every year for our anniversary because of the location, value, and awesome customer service! Having two kids that are heavily involved in school and sports we can't get away too far, but staying here makes us feel like we're way out! Thanks Ayres staff for always making us feel like royalty!!

Definitely would have given them five stars if I did not have to call them every day to clean my room and the other guests rooms that were in the wedding party. Also, the construction on 405 makes travelling a bit difficult, but CA traffic is known for being time-consuming and stressful.

Wonderful rooms, staff, and breakfasts!!! Wonderful pool and hot tub!

I stayed here because of a job interview. The lobby was very clean and I liked the Victorian style theme the hotel had. I stayed on the 3rd floor, and the room was very lovely. The colors were deep and rich and the bathroom was spacious. Big bed and very comfortable pillows made it easy to fall asleep . Close the Rossmoor shopping center, Seal Beach Blvd and the 405. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would totally stay here again :)

Enjoyed our stay overall. Our room was very clean and spacious. The rating of 4 out of 5 was due to the bed. It was not very comfortable...woke up with a backache. Still a good deal and would recommend this hotel to our friends.
