“Business trip to Long Beach”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was a very comfortable hotel, lovely interior and rooms, different than many cookie cutter chain brands. The room was very comfortable and the location was convenient near I-405. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

What a wonderful hotel, the furnishings and attention to details were so evident! The room was large with a beautiful carved headboard and massive armoire. There was a lovely couch and coffee table that reminded you of antiques. The bathroom was stocked with amenities, and even the tile had a beautiful finishing on each piece. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, with a chef making fresh pancakes and french toast to go with the bacon and eggs. It was too cold outside to swim, but the hot tub was a perfect temperature! They even had a laundry room on our floor, and sold detergent at the front desk. We were totally satisfied and will definitely return!

It is nice to have a hotel to come to after a hectic day. My mom lives in Leisure World right around the corner. It gave her piece of mind knowing we were so close, yet gave us the space to unwind. Love the breakfast choices and the fact that there is a happy hour time during the week...helps the unwinding process. Sean at the front desk and on the phone is great/very personable and makes you feel comfortable right away. Housekeeping is great, our blow dryer died and was replaced by the time we returned...very courteous and friendly. Loved the size of the room, nice to have a king bed and couch/living type area. We used to stay with my mom in Leisure World, that is no longer an option, so staying at the Ayers really works....close to everything we need, reasonably priced and great staff. Also, Chef Jose's smiling face is a joy to see for breakfast, he also makes a mean omellette.

We had a GREAT visit to Ayers Hotel Seal Beach!!! It was a perfect location for anybody visiting the sites of LA. It was close to everything (LA, Hollywood, Disneyland, etc.) All types of restaurants and shopping close! The kids LOVED getting in the heated pool and hot tub! It was beautifully decorated and clean! Everyone was friendly. It also helped having a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice size rooms too. I would highly recommend it for the value!

Room Tip: Our room wasn't the best location, because it looked out to the parking lot, but we weren't...

Nice place but the beds were uncomfortable, especially the sofa sleeper that my son had to sleep on cause they were out of room with 2 Q beds. The shower was so loud in the room above us it woke me up. All in all a nice place and the staff was very helpful.

Room Tip: The sofa sleeper was awful and the king bed was lumpy on one side.

We LOVE the Ayers Hotel Seal Beach~!!! My parents live in nearby Leisure World, and we stay at the Ayers every time we go down south to see them. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL; they are roomy, and have everything you need: microwave, refrigerator, etc; the beds are very comfortable; the bathtubs are deep and comfy; and the service is top notch. We also LOVE the breakfast; the choices are more than plentiful, and the food is delicious. We'll see you next trip.

Room Tip: The rooms facing north/west over the courtyard seem to be larger than the other rooms.
