“Overdone, overhyped”
Reviewed August 9, 2011

Their process for turning out burgers is interesting to see but the result was overcooked and dry. Not worth the hype or wait.

“Not worth to go”
Reviewed April 12, 2011

We decided on a bike tour over the bridge to eat at that place. At not even 5pm they told us that they are already closed. Are you kidding me??

Not worth going there, they don't seem to need the money.

“This place closes before 4:30pm”
Reviewed April 12, 2011

We took the bike tour across Golden Gate Bridge and wanted to eat at Hamburgers in Sausalito as the place was specially recommended to us. By the time we arrived at 4:45pm we ditched the ferry to grab a bite only to regret it in an instant. At 4:49 they told us that they are closed now. No Burgers for us, no business for them...

“Great burgers!”
Reviewed February 27, 2011

If you are looking for a dining experience with tablecloths, a relaxing atmosphere, etc., forget it. This is a hamburger joint. Period. It's very narrow and the limited seating is in the back. The menu is brief. Generous portion of fries, with one order being enough for two people. The fries are nothing extraordinary, though. The hamburgers ARE extraordinary. Well worth the wait and considering the neighborhood they are very reasonably priced. Attached is a photo of their grill rotating in the window. The flames are because the cook just flipped them and put cheese on them. YUM! If the weather is good, just walk across the street and enjoy the incredible waterside view with your meal.

“BEST HAMBURGER EVER”
Reviewed December 6, 2010

Seriously, the best hamburger ever. If you go and there is a line - wait. It will move quickly and you will not be disappointed. HEAVEN for TWO and only $20 for cheeseburgers, fries and drinks. Wish I could have some flame broiled goodness now.
