This location has changed a few times over the years, and it has transitioned into a beautiful pizzaria on the waterfront. The restaurant caters to the bicycle bound tourists with a bike parking area available, and its location close to the busy downtown area of Sausalito.

They do not accept reservations, and had a long wait, about 45 minutes for a table, but they welcome picnic guest dining along the water, so if you plan ahead and bring a blanket you can get your meal more immediately. They have a unique dining are with a few tables inside, and the majority of tables outside around fire pits or adjacent to the bocce ball court.

Sausalito is usually a bit colder than elsewhere in the county, so you should bring sweaters if you decide to eat outside, but they do have some heat lamps and coverings over their deck, so there is little discomfort from the elements if you eat at one of their tables.

The food is delicious, and has more unusual toppings than traditional pizzas. We tried 4 different kinds, and they were all very good.

I recommend this place both to the tourists who want a taste of Sausalito, and to locals who are looking want a reminder of the benefits of living here.

Nice place to go for lunch, diner or cocktail.
The view is amazing, very easy to park and the food is good.
The service was just okay (lack of attention a bit) however friendly.
Would go there again!

The pizza was one of the best we've had, the view of the harbour lovely, non alcoholic drinks delicious and refreshing. The service although ok it wasn't of the same high standard we've experienced elsewhere so far this trip. Just a little slow and off hand. Perhaps beginners, perhaps less experienced for the early afternoon. We watched a staff shift change and immediately could feel a change in atmosphere and watched staff service change. Recommended by local tourist company.

I have been to BB on many occasions over the past two years, with friends for dinner, by myself at lunch. What is most appealing, and what draws the crowds, is the setting overlooking an inlet of SF bay with a fire pit, and of course a bocce "court." I have always enjoyed it for the atmosphere, and for a good bar. The food was always tasty but less so this last time. Maybe it was just an of day, kitchens have that. Maybe the place has gotten too popular and is resting one its laurels. I have no way of knowing. We had pizza and an heirloom tomato salad. The pizza was with crab, a nice idea that didn't quite work. The salad was fresh tomatoes with pistachio, mint and tarragon. What could have been, and was, a killer combo was defeated by heirlooms that were utterly tasteless. No real chef would have ever allowed such mediocre produce in his or her kitchen. Service was also indifferent, an overworked waitperson seemed harried and going through the motions. Surprising how much that can affect your dining experience.

I will go back and try again but perhaps with lower expectations.

If you want to go to Sausalito and sit in an amazing outdoor patio, go to Bar Bocce by the water. It's got an incredible atmosphere where you can get delicious drinks and hang out and enjoy the beauty of Sausalito. They have a sangria that was pretty popular, I had the Sauvignon Blanc that was refreshing and crisp. There is an area between the patio and the shore where you people are playing Bocce ball so be alert when crossing. The food wasn't impressive, but if you're going to order something, I would get the couscous app.
