After having cycled from the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, Bar Bocce was a welcome respite for my aching .... legs! We sat outside looking towards the water at the sheltered upper bench rather than at the tables as they weren't as protected from the wind. There was a really nice pit fire going which would be great in the later part of the afternoon, early-evening. We started with the Calamari which was just beautiful; a little spicy and the couscous was cooking to perfection. I really enjoyed this portion; so much so we considered ordering more however our pizza came just after we devoured it so started in on that instead. The meatballs looked really good too when served at the next table. We had the Pepperoni pizza which was tasty and had extra pepperoni as my dining companion enjoys his meat! This all washed down was plenty to revive us for the ferry ride back to SanFrancisco and our return bike ride up the hills home. A really nice quiet out of the way restaurant with very friendly wait staff and an excellent water outlook. I would eat there again and again.
