Description: Cavallo Point's acclaimed restaurant, Murray Circle, under the direction of Executive Chef Justin Everett, is one of the Bay Area's top culinary destinations. Highlighting refined modern Northern California cuisine anchored to its Marin roots, the freshest local ingredients and stunning Golden Gate Bridge views, a meal here is inspired. Settle into the elegant yet comfortable dining room accented with beautifully restored tin ceilings, fine art photography and toasty fireplaces. Outside, soak up the sun on plush outdoor seating on the historic porch, with sweeping views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

“Good, not great”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

My husband and I had been here when it still had a star. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as it had been. I had pork shank which was good, not great and not hot. Others at the table had the fish and said it was "good not great". The location is incredible and I would recommend you come early to have a drink first at the outdoor bar which has great views of the city and Golden Gate Bridge.

“a beutiful location, and great service”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

There were 6 of us, who went to lunch, and each one of us thought this was a great place, not only was what we ordered, perfect, but the service was outstanding, We have recommended this place to others, and they were equally as satisfied. Check it out for yourselves, you wont be disappointed.

“We actually drove a hour to get here?”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Unimaginably uninteresting menu. Food mediocre. Service was far worse, the waiter was rude, unhelpful and possibly drunk or high. Never got dessert we ordered nor pot of hot water. All in all nothing about the place makes it worthwhile.

“Great Views AND Great Food”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Murray Circle is the restaurant at Cavallo Point, a hotel/resort that was created on the Ft Baker grounds, just on the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge. I have eaten in all of their venues (bar, dining room, private dining room), but my favorite is a Sunday Brunch or any day lunch time meal on the veranda overlooking San Francisco Bay and skyline. Blankets and heaters are available on cooler days making it a lovely cosy experience any time of year. And quite remarkably for a location of this much beauty, the food is excellent. A very well conceived brunch/unch menu with daily fresh fish, wonderful salads and sandwiches, a burger to die for, and the best bagels and lox I've had this side of Brooklyn. Dinner has a broad choice of fish, fowl, and quadruped entrees as well as lovely and creative first courses. Specials are always worth having at least one person at the table order it. Wine list is extensive and, as you might expect, pretty pricey. But you're paying a bit extra for the view.
