We had dinner and breakfast at Murray Circle, staying overnight at the hotel. Nice location, historic room very nice.
From what I remember of dinner about a year ago, it was better then. My boulibase (spelling??) was well prepared but the mussels in it were definitely "day old". I came close to sending it back. Service was excellent. Nice table spacing. Prices OK and good selection, good advice. However I noted a dramatic increase in wine prices compared to their internet posting. ('71 Yquem was $1050 compared to $750 posted, Ouch. I would much rather pay the corkage on that one.)
At breakfast, the omelette was cooked eggs folded over the ingredients. That must be OK but it's not to my preference. Eggs Benedict so-so. We asked for jam or jelly for the excellent toast, got "apple sauce". They did not have fruit jam and furthermore the butter was not great, just supermarket generic. This is definitely sub par for such a high end restaurant.
