“Watch the Fog Lift and the Golden Gate Emerge”

Great spot for lunch on the porch in the shadow of the Golden Gate.

Not a thing on the menu disappointed, but best of all, and quite special, was the broth highlighting the mussels appetizer.

An ideal start to a day in the wine country.

“Very Good Food and Service in Fantastic Location”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Had a very enjoyable meal, starting with raw oysters (almost always excellent wherever), soy glazed pork belly appetizer (absolutely delicious), gem lettuces with boccorones (tasty delicate and light version of a ceasare-like salad), then I had the lamb and my wife the aged pork chop. The lamb and the various accompaniments were delicious. The pork chop had been brined and took on a bit too much flavor from what it had been cured in. Great if you enjoyed pairing it with the figs or other sweet things that it was served with, but a bit too much for my taste (and a bit of a surprise as I don't recall the menu or the waitress saying that aged pork chop meant brined pork chop).

“Good food, nice atmosphere but does not appeal to whole family”
Reviewed August 24, 2012 via mobile

The food at Murray Hill was good - both my husband and I enjoyed it and found lots that we like on the menu. My teenage children had difficulty finding foods that they liked - which is disappointing because Murray Hill is the only restaurant at a family resort (Cavallo Point). The hostess rolled her eyes and mocked my children when my kids asked to see what was on the kids menu.

“Good for a tourist venue”
Reviewed August 22, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at Cavallo Point, and wanted to try the restaurant. We are from Manhattan and have come to expect a lot from a Michelin starred chef. We got the strawberry salad, bone marrow, halibut, and salmon. All were solid but nothing particularly special. I would give the atmosphere high marks and overall the service and experience were very pleasant but the food was not memorable.

So far it has been lovely experience- other than TV not working, yet they are changing it out quickly. Looking forward to a relaxing week even though have alot to do
