Heading to Palm Desert we opted out of lunch in Julian (way too busy) and by accident found Jeremy's. Butternut Squash soup was colorful, flavorful and delicious. A minor criticism on the Caesar salad would have been more parmesan cheese. Also ordered the Pork Schnitzel with sweet/sour cabbage. Ordered the Garlic Herb fries on a whim and they are delicious, especially dipped in the chipotle aioli. The apple cobbler was freshly made and beautiful. My cell phone photo is a really poor representation. Because the cobbler is crafted when ordered, it did take some time for the dish to appear at our table .. if you have limited time to wait .. best to double-check length of time to prepare if you order a dessert. Trust me, if you do have to wait, for a memorable dessert, it's worth the wait.
I noticed a previous review was critical of the menu being heavy on red meat. I did not find that to be the case today. The menu is changed regularly. Other than some of Jeremy's standard entrees, you may not see the same dish you ordered the last time you visited.
