“Beautiful place to visit, friendly staff, good wine.”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Stopped off at the Sun Stone Winery and spent a couple of hours in their beautiful tasting room. The architecture alone is worth the visit; make sure you go through the entire facility. The wine is upscale, make sure you try their Eros. They also offer flavored balsamic vineger and olive oils. The Staff is fantastic; friendly, helpful and a pleasure to converse with about the area. Now, if you really want a treat, see if you can get invited to visit the Sun Stone Villa....an amazing villa which you will not want to leave. So lovely, romantic and impeccably designed.

“Looks like Tuscany”
Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

While I only liked a couple of the wines, I loved the beautiful views, fragrant rosemary bushes, charming Tuscan-style building, etc. and would gladly go back.

“3 hour drive from LA - certainly worth it!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

The drive up from LA was great, the time went by fast as the scenery was really nice. My favorite wine was the 2009 merlot. The outdoor space was beautiful, a perfect place to enjoy our wine tasting. The afternoon couldn't have been more beautiful.

“Amazing Wine!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Definitely not cheap, but well worth it. The winery itself is set as if you are in the south of France. Very peaceful.

“Beautiful location and venue”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

This is a terrific location and a beautiful tasting room and outdoor seating area. The wines were very good as was the pairing with the food. In addition, the added treat of the balsamic vinegar and the chocolate balsamic was tasty!
