We stayed there 2 nights on our trip to Napa and Sonoma. I booked this hotel mostly due to price but I was greatly surprised at the service, cleanliness and a nice outside pool and jacuzzi. It is somewhat a drive from downtown and all wineries, but for the price it is worth staying here. The service was by far the nicest I encountered in a long time. The rooms were clean, nice; the fridge did not close all the way, but I really have no other complaints. Free parking, and a lot of it. It you are traveling in the area and don't want to spend too much on hotel, and want a great atmosphere, I highly recommend this hotel. We loved it.

My wife and I spent just a nite but it was a very pleasurable experience. Centrally located just off 101, it was a little over 1 hour ride from SF and just 20 minutes to Healdsburg and Geyersville. Chris Morano, concierge was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He guided us to the wineries and offered complimentary passes. Our room 110 was good size., very clean with all the amenities. Bathroom, was well lit, granite and clean and quality linens. Parking was free. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. Ask for the Sonoma package and they'll throw in free breakfast at their restaurant; Equus. We got a great rate of $119. We highly recommend.

Was in Santa Rosa for an overnight business trip, and found this hotel very nice. Staff was exceptionally friendly, easy quick check in, and the room service was fantastic!! If I were to come back to the Santa Rosa area for pleasure, I would definetly stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Fountaingrove Inn for three nights as part of our wine tasting trip to Sonoma County. The hotel was in a great location with a great price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer any questions we had regarding the area. We would defiantly stay there again. On a side note the bar has a great happy hour special!

We very much enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend stay here. The hotel was designed by a Frank Lloyd Wright pupil - kind of 80's minimalist but well appointed with amenities. Super location for traveling by car around the area to various tastings around Sonoma County and also the Napa Valley wineries. Our 3 day weekend vacation was planned out to the tee, so having a nice hotel located right off U.S. 101 was key. The rooms were quite clean, fairly large and decently appointed, including a small refrigerator to chill cold drinks. The bathrooms were spaceous and updated. They have a happy hour in the nice lounge each night. The restaurant was very good - the breakfast buffet was excellent - much better than average for a hotel. The front desk was very cheerful and helpful with suggestions. On the negative side - though not at all bad - the workout room could have been a little better, the walls were not well insulated (noise from room above us could at times be heard) and the king bed mattress was getting a little worn, with one side seemingly sloped downwards towards the floor.

Overall, though a vwry nice value and pleasant place to stay for someone in town on business or for a wine tasting trip.
