Description: A San Francisco Chronicle Bay Area Top 100 Restaurant for four years, Willi's Wine Bar's classic roadhouse appeal captures the casual, laid-back nature of Sonoma County Wine Country. Tourists and locals feel equally at home enjoying a quick bite or lingering over a glass of wine. The menu at Willi's features international small plates, some wildly inventive and others comfortingly familiar. Staff is eager to help create perfect pairings with wines from the extensive wine list, many by local producers. Most wines are available in twoounce tastes as well as by the glass or bottle..

A very nice and cozy atmosphere with great but unpretentious food. We had the cheese selection with paired wines (excellent blue cheese and a riesling combo), a flight of sauvignon blancs, crab tacos, spinach salad, ribs, and the fig and prosciutto flatbreads. Loved the idea of tapas style small plates on some other cuisine than spanish.

The wine list I wish had been more local given the location in the wine country but i presume 2/6 european isn't too much. The tacos were mediocre but everything else was really tasty, especially the spinach salad. There were quite a lot of things in the menu i regret not trying but you can't really eat the whole menu in one night. They also kindly moved our reservation to earlier than originally booked. Overall, very nice and off quite good value.

This turned out to be the best dinner of our wine country vacation and was perfectly relaxing after a long day of wine tasting. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, although it did take awhile to find a parking spot. Our server, Ryan was very good about explaining the menu and giving wine suggestions. I highly recommend the Maine Lobster Creamed Corn and the Pulled Duck BBQ.....excellent! The prices are a bit steep, but the food, service and atmosphere are terrific.

Highly recommended. Great service and care to your interests. Excellent options on the menu. We loved it. We received a very welcome and open response to our desires from the moment we entered the business and throughout our experience. They were very accommodating. The food entre's we ordered were all outstanding. The service and food are wonderful and this is one of our highlights of our visit to CA wine country so far from the mid-west.

Best tapas in town for sure! Although it's quite expensive it's incredible food and worth going once. The service is good but you can feel the pretentiousness in the air. If you want to drop $$$ and show off your date this is the place to go.
