The food, wine, setting, staff, chef and other attendees make this a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations. It's so hard to decide which component stands out the most.
The food was absolutely wonderful. Each component of each dish was great on its own. While these are "tasting" size, the number of courses ....with the wine.....is sufficiently filling. Our first course was a curried squash and falafal. The second course- trout with creamed corn, mushrooms, etc. The third - asian chicked and fried rice. The fourth - short ribs with whipped potatoes etc. And, the finale - cheese and a peanut butter mousse et al.
It was great to be able to talk to the chef and to learn about the wine from the hostess. Each was very warm and hospitable. The setting was classy without being pretentious or stiff. Plus as many tasted each course, whether the food or the wine, you could hear the oohhs and sighs....
We look forward to attending again.
