Railroad Square Historic District
Reviewed July 28, 2014

I really want to like this district and have several friends with businesses located here.
However, I just can't give Railroad Square high marks. Far too many transients to feel safe and comfortable, not to mention those darned parking stations (I'm hoping that RRS will go back to individual metered parking like the downtown area has done).
Clean up this area and I'll increase my time down in RRS (and my score for the area on tripadvisor).

Railroad Square has lots to offer our out-of-town guests: Fun shops, excellent choice of restaurants, nearby Sixth Street Playhouse and some interesting old architecture.

Its a small street has an old town feel. Loved the thrift shops, especially the modern one towards the end of the street.

Home of the legendary Whistle Stop Antiques, always great for a browse! Food and drink to please all. Don't miss the Assistance League of Santa Rosa thrift store. Always something you just can't pass up.

A great stop when you have out of town visitors. Also the train station is nearly back!

There are many antique stores, thrift shop, and interesting boutiques to be found, plus a whole bunch of different types of restaurants. You could spend a whole day just exploring this small area of Santa Rosa, and it would be well worth your time.
