I hiked with a family group of 6 people, from the horse parking lot up Richardson trail to the lake. This park has wonderful scenery of rolling grassy hills, wildflowers, and oak woodland. There's a fun rope swing at the lake, along with a picnic table. Lots of bikers on the trail, and they were all polite to us hikers. Watch out for the poison oak - it's everywhere! Please please pay the entrance fee - most people don't, and the park deserves to be cared for.
