“Very sweet exhibits.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

If you love Snoopy and Beagles in general you'll love the Peanuts exhibit. Good for the family or with some friends. Reasonably priced and won't take your whole day.

“A must for Peanuts fans”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

This museum is a must see if you're a fan of the Peanuts comics and cartoons. They have rotating displays of Peanuts comic strips, a gallery about the life of Schulz, and a theater that shows some of the TV specials as well as some interview footage, all included with the price of admission. Be sure to check out the garden with the kite-eating tree as well. The museum is right across the street from the Redwood Empire Ice Arena, as well as a huge Peanuts gift shop with another small gallery upstairs.

“A Real Treat for Peanuts Fans”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

While visiting Santa Rosa, we couldn't possibly miss the Schulz Museum. Any fan of the Peanuts comic strip will have a ball visiting this clever, informative museum, with a huge amount of Peanuts memorabilia, some hilarious cartoon panels, and personal effects of the artist himself. In many ways moving, you will leave the museum understanding the Peanuts phenomenon, while also understanding and appreciating how much Schulz carefully protected and preserved the franchise for future generations. He also seemed to know when it was time to end the strip, and one of the great and sad ironies is that he died on the day his last new cartoon was published, marking the end of an era.

“A great place to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

This is a wonderful tribute to a man who entertained so many with his comics. It was great to get some insight into the man who gave us Peanuts. It gave me a much better understanding of just how talented and generous Charles Schulz was. It made me want to find and read and/or reread all the Peanuts comic strips. If you are a member of your local museum, you might have reciprocal rights and get in for no charge. As it is, the senior discount is excellent.

“Engaging, educational and welcoming.”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

Located in Santa Rosa, California not far from downtown and California Tourist information center. The route is well marked with street signs directing you to Museum. Two story modern museum structure well lit with selection of Peanuts comic strips on first floor and second floor history of Charles Schultz, his family history and sources of inspiration and influence. The museum grounds include cafe, ice rink and gift shop with 5 foot figures of Peanuts characters placed at different locations across the grounds. The staff is warm and welcoming. There are lots of trees green space and tables for enjoying the space. A delight for the family and fans of Snoopy and his gang. I love Sonoma County, but this was a quick trip and I made a special effort to visit the museum. It was well worth effort. Loved it.
