I can't tell you how many times I have driven past this place over the years, always wanting to check it out. It has always had great reviews. So, after 20 years, we FINALLY got dinner here. Since they only stay open until 8pm, we got take out. Our order did not take long, and we brought it home. The staff were very friendly and did not mind that we came in right before they closed. The place is small, but clean. We had the fish and chips because that is what they are known for. It was EXCELLENT, not greasy, with lots of flavor. The fries were good too. My daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich, since she doesn' t eat fish. It was a pretty good grilled cheese! I look forward to going back and trying some of the other things on their menu!

We had a great late lunch of fish and chips. Service was excellent, wait time for our order was minimal considering food is cooked to order. Glad we had a friend with who dines there often so we didn't,t over order, as portions are large.

This place is the BEST place for fish and chips.. Always hot and fresh and made to order. Not food sitting in the warming tray. Beautiful white fish lightly breaded. The clam chowder was the BEST ever. Hot and so good!! French frys were hot and so good too. The help is friendly and so helpful. We went on a monday and they were closed so we caught it on our way home on a Wed.. YUM!!

We went here on a recommendation from our wine tour driver and were more than pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Our group of four all had different meals and without exception everyone one thought their meal was excellent.
The batter used was thin yet flavorful. The fish, scallops, calamari and prawns were all fresh and prepared perfectly. You could tell by the way the fries were cooked that the oil used for the cooking was fresh and clean and not over used.
The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the meal presentation was very good.
The only weird thing about the visit was the restroom, you had to go through the kitchen to get there. Everything was clean and well maintained, it just felt weird going through the kitchen.

Sometimes the name of the restaurant says it all. Yes, they have a menu with many seafood items, but if you haven't already done so - get the fish and chips. These are people who know how to fry. The oil is perfect so that the outside of the batter is a rich color while the inside cod is fully cooked, yet moist. Hmmm, hmmmm.

A two piece serving of fish is more than enough for one person, although they've also got a three piece option. My partner and I find the fries to be a large serving and so one of us gets the fish and chips, while to other gets fish with cole slaw (and interesting blend with pineapple)

They also have a nice selection of beers on tap and in the bottle. My personal favorite is the Newcastle Brown. There is also a selection of dessert pies, but we never have room for them.

We have now gone about four or five times. It's always good and we'll be back
