Staying at the Hillside Inn and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at Jeffrey's Hillside Cafe. Huge, varied menu, so hard to decide but we settled on Jeffrey's Special, sautéed chicken livers with caramelised onions an chive and sour cream omelette with sautéed potatoes, sourdough toast, jam and Earl Grey tea. Enough to keep me going all day. Spotlessly clean, cheerful and helpful staff. Can't recommend this place too highly.

Jeffrey's Hillside Cafe is tucked back in a not so easy to find place and only open for breakfast/ lunch. Cafe has now been remodeled so they can sit more diners which is nice, used to have to wait a bit in queue but definitely Worth any wait! Food much more than stated coffee shop diner. Sophisticated flavors are attentively served with good coffee. The friendly Chef owner is very well trained and very good in the kitchen. Their stcky bun French toast is a delight, one of my favorites. This day we ordered h'oeveos ranchero and the special BLT hash. Both came with two very fresh & beautifully poached eggs. I was stunned by the complexity of flavors; grilled romaine, lovely Coralitos bacon and the brightness of tomatoes, served with outstanding herbal (perhaps tarragon) dressing. It was so delicious that we'll both look for it again on the specials. Toast of our Bellinis to Jeffrey! Well done and we'll be back soon!

After staying at the Hillside Inn, we walked right down to have breakfast at Jeffrey's Hillside Cafe. Honestly, we were not expecting much...luckily, we were wrong! We had the Sticky Bun French Toast & the Chilaquiles. Both plates were very tasty! The staff was friendly and attentive, as well. They have a little shaded patio right by the pool where you can eat your breakfast which we thought was a nice touch. We will definitely be going back here!

I've eaten at many restaurants in Santa Rosa. I was unaware of this restaurant before our last visit to Santa Rosa. The service was great; the tofu scramble was excellent. We needed a quality restaurant serving early morning meals. This was the place! Will go back.
