After almost 20 years living in Sonoma County, loving the outdoors, sculpture and of course wine, PAradise Ridge rocks! It's got it all. Incredible sculpture gardens, epic views, awesome places for picnic and the wine is great.

I am in the global tourism business, get paid to travel but choose to live in Sonoma County. My vote for the Best of Sonoma County winery venue is Paradise. Why do you think they call it that?

I like wine, there I've said it. And in Sonoma County alone there are in excess of 250 facilities. Every one of them has something unique about them, but Paradise Ridge is easy to find, has some of the most spectacular views not to mention some great wine. If you happen to be in the area on Wednesdays, you can watch the sunset and bring in some picnic food if you buy a bottle of their wine to enjoy. Very few facilities allow you to bring in your own food, which is why this place rocks! Find it ... you'll enjoy it too!

We started our day at Paradise Ridge Winery. The 3 ladies working were very knowledgeable and willing to share information. We learned a lot from our wine tasting. We had experienced and non-experienced wine drinkers in our group but we agreed from top to bottom it was one of the best tastings! There wasn't a tasting we didn't like. The winery and views were incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside while sharing a glass (each choosing our favorite tasting) and taking in the views. Beautiful winery! At the end of the day, we decided that this was our favorite winery from top to bottom - from the service we received, to the wines we tasted, to the beauty of the winery!

This past Sat. after a nice lunch at Willi's Wine Bar in Santa Rosa, we headed over to Paradise Ridge for some wine tasting. The barrel tasting was going on at the very top of the hill where the views were incredible! We went down to the main tasting room and sampled several excellent wines which we enjoyed out on the patio. We purchased two bottles of Paradise Ridge wine to take home. The Bride's Blush Rose for my son's fiance and The 2008 Sauv Blanc which was crisp and clean.

This is a fantastic place to wine taste while in the Santa Rosa area, don't miss it! :)

Nothing but sheer bliss as you turn onto this magical road up to a heavenly view.. Greeted by incredible artwork at every turn, its like driving into another world... Leave your cares at the end of the driveway, people!!!
At the top of the drive is a pristine building with a view of heaven... Did I mention wine tasting? This vineyard has a wonderful (and slightly exclusive) delicious array of wines from whites to deep delightful reds (we left with a Zin that had us smiling all night) the view and the landscaping is ... Well, visit for yourself!!! No wonder the website doesn't give it all away, its an experience you NEED to see with your own eyes!!!
