We have heard good things about this restaurant, but we were sorely disappointed when we visited.

We arrived early enough to beat the rush. In fact we were the first ones there. We were greeted warmly by the women and seated in a nice spot for six.

The service was prompt, but that was not our problem.

First of all, the menu on their web site DID NOT match the menu at the restaurant. The prices were different and some of the combinations also did not match. Their web site indicated soup, salad and rice was included, however, it was only included if you paid extra for it. I'm not sure, but I would think a combination platter refers to a combination.
We accepted that.

Our server had no personality at all. We were gracious and said "Thank you" for every effort. Never once did he acknowledge us. After we gave our order we were excited to try the food. It came to us prepared very nice, but I must say that it was not as good as we were told.

After sitting for a few minutes we noticed a prominent voice. This voice was loud and obnixious (some curse words). It was so loud, in fact, I looked over my shoulder to see who was making such a spectacle. It appeared to be the Sushi Chef. When I realized that it was an employee I had a mind to speak to the manager. We were currently the only customers and I thought maybe he didn't know anyone else was in the restaurant. I decided to keep my peace.

As people began to come in it was very apparent that unless you are a regular you really are not very welcomed at all.

We finished our meal and ordered dessert. The only real enjoyment came from the fact that we were there celebrating my husband's birthday and we were with people we love.

As we were leaving we discovered that not only was that loud obnoxious voice the Sushi Chef, it belonged to the owner.

If new-comers visit how can they become regulars if they are treated like that?

Good sushi and good service. It is popular so the place can get really crowded.

Awesome sushi, and by far the best sushi restaurant if you have friends that won't eat sushi but must come along - their cooked stuff is really good, too. Hit the Martini Prawns and the lamb chops.
