We've read for years about Father's Office and finally made it there to try the burger. They were on the forefront of the gourmet burger, and it *was* very good, but we've also had good gourmet burgers locally so there wasn't much novelty. Liked the shoestring fries as well. We ordered one basket of fries for two burgers which was plenty. We got there closer to 9 p.m. and were able to get seated at a shared table, but this was a weeknight.
The beer selection is good, but we tend to like ambers, which either they do not have or else are not as popular on the west coast. We had a red Irish beer which was good.
We were probably the oldest people there that night. I would not really call the crowd "hipster" but more young professionals. Don't let that deter you.
Overall, glad we made the trip to try the burger. Service was prompt after we ordered at the bar.
