“Hopefully just an off night in the food dep't”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

I have adored my two prior experiences at other branches of this chain. But tonight in SM, the food was sub-par. The lobster bisque was quite good, but missed the mark. The ahi salad was not good; the dressing was too sweet-tangy, totally overwhelming the subtle flavors of the ahi, and leaving an unpleasant after-taste. My friend loved his planked salmon--I've had that at other branches and it was great, so that's definitely a keeper. The pecan "pie" dessert was yummy, but too sweet for even my sweet tooth; that didn't stop me from scraping out every last trace from the glass! Our server, Stacy Durkett, was terrific, and sooooo funny!

“Great place to eat.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

Manager came by to personally greet us which is nice. Found out that they were expanding into the Denver Market. Very high end restaurant, wood everywhere, the bar smelled of all the wood. Really nice atmosphere.

The small plates were really excellent and a great wine list. We just missed the flatbread and wine special which ends at 6pm. Wine pairings with flatbreads and it looked awesome. Great wines!!

Will go to the new one they are going to build in Denver!

“Nice atmosphere”

This restaurant is part of a chain...so no surprises in the food. Atmosphere is relaxed. Piano player in bar. Bartenders are somewhat engaged.

“Dinner for nine”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

The food was ok for what is considered low calorie fare. The service was good ,but the restaurant was not crowded. The parking charge is high, but you are near the beach. It is ok,but I am in no hurry to go back.

“Excellent Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

My teenage daughter and I visited Seasons 52 today on a whim while visiting Santa Monica. This place was lovely. Our food was great. our server, Joan, was outstanding, the wine list is excellent and the view... Oh my, the view of the Pacific Ocean. Sublime.
We enjoyed everything we ordered, the stuff mushroom appetizer, the flatbread, the salmon, the wine and the dessert.
One of the unexpected surprises here was the calorie count. Low on every order.
And the most surprising part? The prices were reasonable. For a classy place like this, with a view like it has and superb service? We wouldn't have been surprised by prices 50% higher.
Great view, great food, great service, great prices. What's not to love?
We'll be back.
