Had visited here a couple of years ago.

Was disappointed that they no longer served a Mexican breakfast, however we found something else to order and the food was good.

The location on the end of the pier is fantastic, if you sit on the decking you can hear the buskers and seagulls and waves.

The pidgeons are a little too friendly but a lot of fun too!

On our first afternoon in Santa Monica we walked along the pier and thought it would be nice to sit by the sea to eat. Views are good if you sit outside but there were just far too many pigeons swooping down, jumping on tables and generally just making the place feel too unclean for me to relax.
Food was okay, nothing to get excited about, and drinks (cocktails) were strong but expensive.
Upon approaching the restaurant we were seated really quickly and served quickly too, but in the end we realised there are other places to eat that are much better for the price.

Went here for lunch, and was very disappointed. My girlfriend had drivers license, two debit cards with picture, but was told it wasn´t enough to buy a beer. Was asked to bring passport next time. Okay, so we took a soda instead and order the food. And waited..... And waited...... After a long time it came, and it wasn´t very good. The waitors avoided us when trying to reorder drinks. A terrible experience.

No complaints about this place right at the end of the pier. A little pricy but its on the pier!!!!
We ate outside under the propane heaters and were plenty warm. Great view of the lights along the shore.

Don't know if they take reservations... we didn't have any and were seated immediately.

This long-time favorite restaurant is at the end of the Santa Monica pier, over the water, which is the number one reason to go there. Margaritas are excellent, food is good. Overall it is priced a little too high for Mexican food (no doubt due to the premises overhead) and drinks can get outrageous here with a regular margarita at $10. I love to sit outside here but there are pigeons trying to eat off the tables and lots of people walking and hanging out on the pier so some folks definitely prefer inside, which has a nice wooden floor and a tropical-feel-ceiling-fans ambiance. The staff here are all pleasant and efficient and the restaurant does an amazing job at the end of a pier with a small kitchen. And no dress code so it is a great place to lunch on a beach day.
