I'm into nigri and my wife's a maki fan so there's no shared experiences there. We started off with toro sashimi which is as basic as you can get. Whoever is buying the fish knows what they're doing. Outstanding! I followed it up with six pieces of nigri; maguro, sake and hamachi. I actually ordered saba not sake but I mumble so no big deal. Again, quality of fish and rice were excellent as was the size and cut of the fish. My wife had a California roll which she said was excellent as well.
Dessert was green tea ice cream which had been poured into bean paste shells. Interesting and tasty.
Service was attentive from both the itame and the drinks server. Only issue was they had only one type of shochu available. Note: we did sit at the sushi bar and FWIW, that is the only place to sit if you're eating sushi.
Pricing was at market and for this type of food and location, reasonable.
