Fritto Misto offers tasty pasta and salads in a no frills atmosphere with inexpensive glasses of wine and...great, quick service. Large dishes (sharable) and small checks mean that there is almost always a wait. In this case, it's worth it! The only downside to me is the wait...please take Open Table for reservations!!! The food...yummy, sometimes delicious. A great place to eat!

The best part about Fritto Misto is that you can custom order pasta - you can pick the type of pasta, the sauce, and other ingredients. My favorite sauce is the pink sauce, which is a somewhat creamy tomato sauce. Also, the prices are VERY good, even for wine. Be prepared to wait in line to be seated if you are coming with a large group. Do not be discouraged if the line looks long because it moves quickly.

The pasta at Fritto Misto is fresh and very good but the sauces were bland. It could be so much better. I had the green linguini with Roma tomatoes and oil. the tomatoes were barely cooked---cold-- and the pasta very oily. My husband's rigatoni were good, but again the sauce uninteresting-- no spices or flavor. Salads are generous and good. I would like to return but probably will not. Too many other choices.

The food was excellent, great variety but the place was so noisy, all we wanted to do is get up and leave, which is a shame really, as the food was tasty...
The small Caesar salad was huge and the pasta dishes are big as well, too bad we didn't stay for dessert - we couldn't stand the noise...

The food is really good, and unlike so much of Santa Monica there's no pretension here, just great food at reasonable prices. The Fritto Misto salad is incredible, who ever knew I'd love kale. Best of all, we had read on Trip Advisor that the corkage fee was $2 a person!!!! We thought it was a typo, but that's what it was. Dinner here was a great experience.
