“Love the food, but....”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I just love the food. They have items on the menu you won't find at any other restaurant.
The staff is wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. However, the parking is horrible and the noise level in the restaurant is almost intolerable. We were in a room that had only 5 tables in it with 4 people sitting at each table. I had to yell at the person sitting across from me in order to be heard. It really takes the fun out of enjoying a wonderful meal.

“Loved the food and the service”
Reviewed October 18, 2012 via mobile

This is one of the few places we've been in Santa Monica where we were treated like guests rather than mouths to feed. It felt warm and hospitable, a good range of vodkas and wine, a good menu and a friendly staff. We will certainly go back.

“Restaurant OK, Bar in Back - THE BEST”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

I have only eaten at the restaurant once, and it was ok. Food was definitely tasty, but Polish just really isn't my favorite. However, behind the restaurant is an enclosed patio bar, which is probably my favorite place to go in Santa Monica. Bartenders are great, drinks are cheap, there are plenty of places to sit / hang out with fireplaces and heaters, and it is just overall a great place to go for a drink.

“Very good Polish food in L.A., need to come back soon”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

We found about this restaurant since we were heading to Santa Monica and I have to admit we were a bit skeptical because there's not many Polish people in L.A. We're originally from Chicago, so we knew we could be in for a surprise. And we were actually the food was excellent, very authentic according to my friend who was born and raised in Poland but moved to Chicago years ago. The itemst that I can't wait to go back for are the cabbage rolls stuffed with beef (Gołąbki) and the cheese and potato and the mushroom and cabbage dumplings (Pierogi). These were my favorite items that we ordered. The bread they give you comes with an olive tapenade that was so good. They have a back patio, so next time we'll get a seat outdoors, it totally makes the ambiance more relaxed. And the service was very good, it just took some time to get the entrees out but it was not a big deal we enjoyed some Żywiec beers, which are quintessential Polish and they're hard to find in Los Angeles -- overall we would love to come back soon. Our server Jasmine was so good by the way.
