Just in case your cabbie doesn't know where it is (ours didn't) make sure you write down the address - its worth it! We arrived late on a Sunday night but were treated well in a somewhat half empty restaurant. We split the Pozole which was delicious with side pork and chick peas plus a mini salad on top. They didn't have the chicken for my daughter's Pavo en Mole, so they substituted a (huge) turkey leg. There was too much for her to handle and that dish definitely had the heat. I was looking for something lighter in the Alambres de Camaron. My only suggestion is that the shrimp should be treated more gently, they had a rubbery texture due to overcooking. We had anticipated the flan for dessert but it was gone by the time we finished, so we had to settle for the chocolate ice cream which had a unique and much more creamy texture than the "usual". The Handsome coffee woke me up, in time for our walk to the Santa Monica pier (only 15 minutes away). Thanks Paris!
