We can't go anywhere else it seems like. Our 12 year old son loves this place. The sushi is like no other. We have had sushi in many places and this is it! Right from the ocean into your mouth. Simple menu, they don't need much more. Good prices too

Prepare for a teast bud explosion. Very natural and real flavor. Trust in the teast menu, they know how mix the flavor.
The menu is small, that's the only down part

The daily selection as Sugarfish is a selection of elegant, gentle fish that melts in your mouth. It is not huge, but the value is excellent, and if you are starving you can always order in an extra roll of snow crab. The decor matches the food in its minimalist, clean style, and the service equally strict and sterile - smiles are not provided unnecessarily and when you finish you are expected to make way.

I always walked by Sugarfish in Brentwood, noticing the crowd and long line, but never stepping in. I read the high rated reviews on Yelp and Zagat. So last weekend, We made it to the SaMo location, for the first Sugarfish experience, for a double date. I knew to arrive early, as they don't accept reservations. For a peak time on a Friday nite, we got seated in approx 45 minutes. They offer 2 hour validated parking within their building. There is also a city parking structure next door. Inside is small, cramped with lots of tables closer together. The menu is short and simple. Not too many choices.started with a few bottles of their cold sake. Pretty good and smooth. Then we ordered tons of sushi. Blue crab roll, lobster handroll, hamachi roll were my favorites, very yummy. Simple, fresh, and tasty. We also had salmon roll, scallop roll, cucumber roll, and toro roll. I would not order the cucumber or scallop roll again, given that there are better options from the menu, but that is personal taste and preference.Their toro roll was not impressive. It is not the true high quality, buttery, melt in your mouth, quality fatty belly toro you can get at the ritzy, pricey, famed Matsuhisha, Nobu, or Koi.. but that's a much different league. For the no frills price point and fish quality and freshness, Sugarfish is a wonderful value. Service was good too. This cute, clean place is also perfect for groups, double dates, or if you want to sit alone at the sushi bar. Very casual, fun, simple, hip, quaint, and crowded.I will definitely be back to try to Brentwood and BeHi locations!!!

I actually work right down the street and just had to sing the praises for this place. I had lunch there the last 2 days in a row and eat there frequently.

The fish is of a higher quality and melts in your mouth. You need to stop here and eat. Take it from a native. Epic.
