Palisades Park is a lovely, well-maintained park overlooking Santa Monica Beach and the Pacific beyond. On a clear day you can see, well, forever; from Palos Verdes and the Channel Islands in the south to Malibu in the north. The palm trees and lush vegetation embody the best California has to offer. Unfortunately the park inadvertently serves as bedroom, living room and bathroom to many of the area's homeless, who detract from the beauty of the place. The city would do well to ship them somewhere else.
