We had heard nothing but good things about this place and they were all true. A casual western atmosphere with inside and patio dining. The weather was perfect so we opted for the patio. The waitstaff were a delight and the menu offered us plenty of choices. We started our meal with the garden salad. It consisted of baby greens, goat cheese, walnutts, beet & carrot curls with balsamic vinegrette.One of the best dressed salads I have ever had in a restaurant. The entrees were generous. I had the rib eye and my friend had the filet of beef. Both came with veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. We did not leave hungry.Wines may be purchased by the glass. The dessert menu looked devine but we had no room left. If you are anywhere near Santa Margarita you would be foolish not to have dinner here. Pricey but worth every penny. NO credit cards accepted. Have plenty of cash on hand. Chef Jeff and his wife have themselves a real winner!
