“Decent food & a great view”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the ocean end of the Santa Cruz Wharf. Listen to the Sea Lions under the wharf while you dine inside or outside of the restaurant. The views are stunning and you will see sea lions, ocean birds, kayakers, surfers and may see a pod of dauphins. We had breakfast so I can't speak to the seafood menu but the breakfast menu was fine and they were friendly enough to serve us breakfast, even though we were 30 minutes past the breakfast cut-off.

“Nice location....bland food.”
Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

We sat at The Dolphin for lunch and while it was nice dining on the pier, the food was pretty lousy. We had oysters which were warm and the chowder was thick, but not a whole lot of clams. I had the red snapper which I had to continuously drench with lemon to give it flavor. However, I did dine with a couple senior citizens and they enjoyed their meal!

“Calamari poboy sandwich was great.”
Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

This s a great spot for lunch, fast cheap and tasty. We had the calamari PO boy, and clam chowder in a bread bowl. All the food was pretty reasonable and the staff was really nice. Since its almost at the end of the pier it had really good views of the boardwalk and was pretty quiet.

“Nice place to stop and grab a bite.”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

We had the clam chowder. The clams were firm but not chewy. Good flavor, but it did need pepper. Also had fish n chips. Fish was light and flaky. Chips were a little light, but overall a nice dinner. We were rushed out a little, but they were busy and they only had 12 tables inside.

“great clam chowder”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

There were 4 of us, had a great late lunch outside on the patio, sat under an umbrella, so the birds wouldnt get us. I ordered the new england clam chowder, and it was very good! The others ordered manhatten clam chowder, and fish tacos. We all enjoyed our meals, great food and wonderful sitting at the end of the Santa Cruz pier!!
