The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay. It is dated and needs to be updated. Only 1 thing about my stay that I found uncomfortable. I felt like I was being watched. There is an older woman who stands outside watching everyone and what they are doing. My family would smile and try to be nice and she would just give us a dirty look. Very weird.

There was nothing really wrong with this hotel other than it was all a bit tired. The bathroom could do with upgrading. The reception area and breakfast area (and breakfast) were very basic. However, it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the hotel's location couldn't have been better. We had a great day and night in Santa Cruz.

We were charged an additional $20 for additional person; $10 parking fee and were YELLED AT for requesting late checkout and charged $10 for an extra hour. This treatment was rude and stressful. They could have been courteous.
