“This has to be on everyone's bucket list”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

I may be getting this mixed up with 17 mile drive but even so this has to be one of the most stunning places I have ever been. The Californian light just seems to capture colour perfectly. Seeing the loan cypress tree so famously immortalized by Micheal Schwab just captures the absolute beauty of this place. We spend several days in Gosby House which was the perfect accommodation to explore the Monterey Peninsula. If I were to live anywhere else in the world it would be here.

“Great drive and views.”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

This is the best thing for me in Santa Cruz. The drive is about 2 to 3 miles LNG and switch backs and curvy roads. And the view is absolutely heaven on earth. The state has put plenty of parking along the route. The Cliffs, Natural Bridges and Water is breath taking. Right up there with the road to Hana in beauty just much shorter.

“Great drive. Much better than 17-mile drive in Monterey.”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

Wonderful drive with many pullouts. You can go down to the water and explore (you can't do it on the 17-mile drive in Monterey).
Gorgeous views!

“Great Drive”

This strip of road runs right along side of the coast, there are several pull offs, parking lots, or street parking, for you to get out & explore.

“Beautiful Walk; take your time and have patience”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

We walked from the Santa Cruz Wharf to Natural Bridges Beach. The views are amazing, but watch out for the more serious walkers and bikers. Definitely a gorgeous walk (2.5miles one way), with the reward of ending up at a beautiful beach.

We were also lucky enough to make the trip when the Monarch's were migrating. Huge clumps of them in the trees and vast numbers of the flying all through the air. It was magical.

Free if you walk, but fee if you park your car there.
