Description: HANDCRAFTED BEER • FULL BAR • HAPPY HOUR • DOG FRIENDLY PATIO • LIVE MUSIC • 5 FLAT SCREEN TV’S Seabright Brewery has had a certain “it factor” which has made us a destination spot since 1988. We are the spot in Santa Cruz for fresh, handcrafted beers! We believe that beer tastes best when it’s made fresh, not having spent weeks in a warehouse or on a shelf. That’s why our beers are made right here, on a daily basis. We use only the finest ingredients: domestic and imported malted barley and hops, yeast and water. Open daily for lunch and dinner, our restaurant is where you’ll find not only huge burgers but the best burger, and french fries in Santa Cruz. Same goes for our cheeseburgers, fresh salads, pasta dishes, and daily specials.

“Reasonable Food”

The menu had several good basic choices for adults and kids. We especially enjoyed the seafood tacos. There's a great outdoor dining area with roomy tables. Overall, the prices were good.

“Poor service”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

My wife and I had a meal on the patio on a Friday evening with our small dog. While we were seated next to the entrance to the restaurant we really had difficulty getting the attention of our server. There were many people eating and some large groups, but we waited way too long for everything. The tlapia I had was overcooked and the beef and barley soup was too seasoned for me. Overall the experience, I am sad to report, was not a good one. At least they have a large parking lot.

“Relax, Enjoy, and Eat Away!!”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

We were informed that this was a great place to have a great lunch.
We were seated in the patio area. This is a "dog friendly" restaurant, and several dogs of various breeds were there. The food that they offer are just "DELICIOUS!!!" My wife had fish tacos and potato fries.......I had one of the best tasting hamburgers in recent years!!! The quality of the meat cannot be questioned. They also have a salmon taco, which seems to be quite the favorite among the patrons. There is seating indoors, with a bar and a pool table.

The atmosphere among the patrons......seemed very relaxing, everyone was enjoying the various types of beer and the food. The scene was definitely celebratory.

You will walk away quite happy!

“Mixed thoughts”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

I think this place would have been great on a different day. We went on a friday when there was a live band, the place was crowded and we were seated directly across from the band and speakers. It was really too loud and I'm not a prude about music. There was another table open around the corner from the band but we were told we couldn't sit there due to server issues. Thus my lower mark. The food was good, the hard cider I got was good, the server we had was great, we just couldn't hear her nor could she hear us. I don't understand why if the other server at the other table was too swamped, couldn't the server we had just take us at that table? Too me, it was a bad hostess decision. Unless your there for the band and music specifically, I would suggest sitting outside or choosing a day other than Friday. I wish we would have picked a different place

While the Oatmeal Stout and Sacrilicious Ale are our two favorite craft beer choice on the menus, the real reason we keep coming back is for the Salmon Fish & Chips w/ wasabi tartar, priced at a reasonable $12.95. Substitute garlic fries for an extra 75 cents and it is simply fabulous! Wow! Portion is big enough to share, last time we also ordered a Pub Salad, which was fresh and loaded with good greens. Seabright is great on a sunny day or enjoy the dog friendly dining patio at night where you can stay toasty warm by the gas heat lamps. A Santa Cruz favorite!
