Loved this place! Super clean and very well managed. Word of caution...on a weekend, super crazy and right in the heart of all the boardwalk action. Bonus...their own parking lot and it's free! Most hotels charge an extra fee for parking. It's security patrolled at night and well lit. Room was clean, pretty basic, with comfortable king bed. Non-HD channels on TV, but wifi worked great. Decent (and free!) continental breakfast from 7-11.

My girlfriend and I generally come to Santa Cruz ever other weekend to Mtn Bike and were thrilled when we found this gem. The staff is excellent, the rooms are always perfect and you can't beat the location.
PERFECT AS THE LAST 100 or so times we have stayed there, Clean rooms, Polite wonderful Friendly staff, Nothing more you could ask for. Great resurants in walking distances, Plus The Warm sand & great Pacific ocean just about 100 yards away, HIGHLY recomend.

This place was AWESOME. The staff was friendly and helpful and on top of things. We ran out of tp and they brought it right away to our room. The homemade muffins were delicious. They had ice water and some sort of OJ or ice tea etc through out the day and muffins. The elevator broke down on the 1st day we checked in and that was my only negative remark about this place. I would definitely stay here again. They had it back up and running the next day. We had to haul our stuff including a stroller and baby up so many flights of stairs on a hot day. That sucked. Overall everything else was great.
Location was good. We enjoyed just relaxing on the balcony and watching the sun set and all the people scurrying around. Room was typical hotel, nothing too incredible. Good little hotel though. We will stay there again. Wi-Fi could use some help though. The signal wasn't too great and usually dropped out because it was so weak.
Carousel is a reasonably priced hotel and the location was great. It was feet from the boardwalk! All the staff was friendly! I would go back and definitely recommend this hotel. It was also very clean!
