Had a nice visit, but paying to park just to walk along the pier wasn't worth it to me. Everything was high priced for what it was.

It’s a nice boardwalk with souvenir shops and very good restaurants. The end of the pier has a bunch of seals which is cool to see.

Santa Cruz Wharf in California is well known for fishing, boat tours, dining, gift shops and a beautiful long pier. We visited on a sunny day with family including kids. We walked on the pier, visited the gift shops to buy some souvenirs and had lunch at the Firefish Grill comprising sea food, chicken and salad with Beer. We all then walked to the end of the Pier where we could hear and see the Sea Lions as well as the sail boats. The wharf is located close to the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk; where one can spend a day enjoying the thrill rides. The over 100 years old Wharf is a must visit for tourist to the city.

After all, how many times do you get to drive your car on a pier over the Pacific, so I paid and discovered it was a cruisers dream. Oh yea, pick a restaurant to eat at and buy a souvenir. A tourist dream!
