There's a few nice restaurants and shops, and the wharf in general is a nice place to hang out. We enjoyed soaking up the Santa Cruz atmosphere and watching the wild life.

Fun to walk out along the pier/wharf and view the lit up boardwalk from a distance. There were a few shops and restaurants with bars.

There were only a few shops on the wharf and there wasn’t much to do. It’s a good walk though and a beautiful view. Parking on the wharf is less than the lot near the boardwalk.

I have been to the wharf many many times. This time I went on a Thursday in December. I enjoyed walking the entire wharf area. There are nice water views,

There are places for shopping such as the Sock Store and others.

I had lunch at Gilda's Family Restaurant. There are others. All have views.

People were fishing, walking about, etc. There are places to rent boats and kayaks.

There are historic signs.

And of course the best is the sea lions one can see at the end of the wharf area.
Its always a must to watch them.

The wharf is home to a number of excellent restaurants with a price range to suit every pocket. The food was excellent with numerous fresh seafood dishes. Also dotted along the wharf was a selection of shops selling clothes, jewellery, confectionary etc. Towards the far end of the wharf there is an area of pier that has been cut out and made safe with a fence where you can view the seals below
