“A must if you are downtown and in an ice cream mood!”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

This is a great ice cream place. It is in the downtown area and can be packed. They give you tastes of their ice creams and soon you know what you want.... You will not be disappointed if you like good ice cream.

“Calling All Artisan Ice-cream Fans!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Well where to start, it's small, super friendly and the quality of the ice cream is superb. The nearest rivals are the artisan gelati's in Rome. Flavours are imaginative, varied and unusual, from Basil to Cardamom Plum. There is always a safe bet for those less adventurous. They are also very happy to let you try before you buy but let's be honest, this isn't the biggest purchase you've ever made and this really is a great opportunity to let yourself be surprised! Opening hours are generous, as are the portion sizes! Definitely worth a visit and be brave, try something new!

“Teriffic Ice Cream Spot!”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

This tiny creamery offers outstanding, lovingly prepared ice cream. They don't have a lot of flavors, but everyone is a winner. The chocolate was velvety and rich, while at the same time tasting fresh and clean--pretty hard not to like. The vanilla has whole beans ground into it, and the flavors are intense. Even the cones are special; their waffle cones don't taste like others you've had. It's the perfect cap for an evening.

Seating is limited: a narrow bar that seats 5 or 6 and a corner bench. When it's crowded, you may have to settle for standing outside to eat your cone--but it's worth it.

“Fabulous ice cream.”

What a gem of a place. So many different ice cream flavours. I had basil and it was delicious. Can't wait to come back again and try some more.

“Good ice cream, friendly service”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The ice cream here was very rich. I didn't love all the flavors, but that obviously is personal preference. I got the Butterscotch, which was delicious, and the Honey Lavender, which was too sweet for me. I also tried the Burnt Cinnamon, which was also too sweet.

Also, for a New Yorker, the ice cream was surprisingly affordable. For two scoops (albeit kiddy size) it cost $4.

The staff is super, super friendly. They are happy to hand out samples. They have a clean bathroom and some seating. Overall, a nice place to visit!
