Red lobster restaurants have been around for a long time n depend on their old style of service and cooking to survive. I frequent this place as a last resort. Chain of restaurants needs to step up and kick start their food selection. Entries are same old ones. They're boring and could use some tweaking. Not much variations on a broken theme.

Went there mid-week. They wanted to seat us in one area with sunlight screaming through closed blinds (you'd need sunglasses if facing that window). Wide open restaurant and they were perplexed if they could move 4 of us. We ordered seafood (scallops, shrimp, mani-mahi, etc.). Nothing that said, "wow", let alone, "this is really good". Just, well, ok. With 2 drinks, tip, total came to $130. Really not worth it.

We like to come to this Red Lobster whenever we visit six flags since it is right down the street. This visit was just as good as usual, and our waiter was spectacular. He was friendly, funny and kind. The food was great; it came out hot and he kept us supplied with biscuits. It is a nice break from the park and costs about the same as a meal in the park would, but tastes 1000 times better.

Red Lobster was a welcome sight upon our arrival to Valencia. We'd come to visit Six Flags Magic Mountain and stayed just down the road at the Hilton Garden Inn. Thankfully, Red Lobster was within easy walking distance from the hotel. They've got an "endless shrimp"-fest going on right now with several varieties of shrimp dishes available in an all you can eat. I love seafood and have been to more expensive restaurants but Red Lobster's scampi is probably one of the best scampi dishes you'll find. You could pay a lot more but for freshness and flavor Red Lobster is difficult to top. Why pay more? I had their lobster tail and snow crab legs on another day and it was equally delicious. Always a favorite.
