We like staying in this hotel when we need some weekend rest and relaxation and if the weekend room rate is reasonable. The weekend room rate we got was good value for our money, I believe. The check in was quick and pleasant. Sharon from the front desk, was so nice to accommodate my simple request for a specific room location. The lobby area was very busy and the noise level was quite high. I bought two delicious cups of coffee from Peet’s Coffee located in the lobby area.

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with the usual hotel room amenities. Pool area was busy, and the weather was nice, warm and sunny. However, there were no longer available poolside chairs left for us.

Breakfast experience was a little bit different from our previous stays as this hotel recently re-opened their newly renovated restaurant. I obtained this information from our kind table server after we mentioned to him our observations. I believe the buffet has a little bit less total number of food items on the counters but it is still pretty good value for our money.

Dear 317elwynm,

Thank you for taking the time to review the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara and for being a loyal guest.I was happy to hear the room was quiet, clean and comfortable during your stay. I do regret that the poolside lounge chairs were all being occupied when you went down.Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to see you the next time you need a quick get away.

An old and outdated hotel. One would believe that in the heart of tech valley this would be a modern and more tech savvy hotel. Restaurant choice limited although the service people were extremely gracious.

My sister and daughters had planned this trip for the concert and the hotel is the perfect location to stay for an event at Levi Stadium. What a great experience from check-in through our stay. The staff were well prepared for a large crowd and security was very organized after the event. Our room was very comfortable.

This is an excellent hotel. I had booked a King and received a King room. The room was quite large, especially for Silicon Valley standards. Discoverist and up get free bottles of water in the room, which was restocked when the room was refreshed. Room came with a bathrobe and slippers. Shower had a retractable clothesline, which is nice feature that is getting harder to find in new hotels. Fitness center had the standard exercise equipment, ample towels, water bottle filler. Internet was fast to watch streaming services. Elevators are plenty fast, even for the high floors. I only got delayed during periods of high traffic (after a football game)

I had some early communication issues between the hotel, me, and the World of Hyatt loyalty program regarding the application of a Club Access Award. I had received conflicting information and escalated it to the "Guest Experience Manager" but had not received a reply. But immediately upon check-in, the front desk staff helped me resolve it with World of Hyatt, so they clearly knew what to do ahead of time. Kudos to them for being prepared.

Club had just been remodeled and had the usual selection of pastries, lox, cured meats, cheeses, fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, etc for breakfast. Hors d’oeuvres day to day and the desserts were okay. I still whine about the $5 club alcohol charge, but that seems to be a Hyatt-wide policy.

My only complaint about this hotel is not really their fault, but the location is pretty out of the way, so I advise bringing a car. (Hotel will charge you for parking, but convention center parking is potentially free.) Closest restaurants are about a mile away. The light rail station is nearby but it will take forever to get anywhere.

Close to stadium and they went above and beyond to create an atmosphere for the Rolling Stones concert. Bar was open late after the concert and great to mix with fellow concert goers. Could have had more staff to serve though
