This is really a business/convention hotel, so don't expect too much around without driving. We are used to getting free wifi, so that was a bummer that we had to pay. The restaurant is small compared to the size of the hotel, so we ended up going to a local diner, Country Inn Cafe, for brunch. That turned out to be a really good decision 'cuz my corned beef hash eggs benedict was so awesome. No other compliants or frills....

We stay here two or three times a year for events my daughter has. The rooms are very clean and inviting. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. It is right next to Great America, and close to shopping and dining. The price of food at the hotel is a bit extreme. I paid 4.50 for a large cup of hot water and a tea bag to go back to my room and find two of the same tea bags in there for free. The food is just as expensive so we eat outside of the hotel. Great place to stay though.

Room Tip: Facing east was beautiful. I watched the sun rise and could see the beautiful green hills all day.

At check-in they automatically hold 50.00 on your bank/credit card for "incidentals". Room was very modern and beds were comfortable. There was no breakfast offered and I got a knock on the door asking if we could keep the noise level down. I was a little put off by this seeing as how there were just a couple of kids in our room laughing relatively quietly?? Overall I would say take your money elsewhere and at least get a hot breakfast included with your stay someplace else. Not really a hotel for families.

Stayed here while on a business trip to the area.

Pros:
Good location / easy access
Attentive staff
Cons:
Somewhat expensive
Furnishings in common areas are showing wear and tear
Parking garage is behind hotel, yet no direct walkway exists from hotel to garage. Poor design/layout forces patrons to walk around side of hotel to access garage.

This used to be a great hotel but it's getting a bit faded inside. The sushi restaurant is closed and it's not possible to order any movies from the streaming service - they give a confusing message saying "sold out" which is very weird given that the movies are streaming...

Also the carpets in the corridors are looking faded and tattered and the breakfast buffet is getting old. The bed sheet was not large enough to cover the mattress underneath the sheet which was gross.

Stayed here for a night, while visiting a company in Silicon Valley. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the airport in San Jose, and a short distance from many large Silicon Valley companies.
I had originally booked a standard room with a king bed, but I was upgraded at check-in to a junior suite in the top floor, with a nice view over the valley. Room was spacious and nice, it had two bathrooms, a living room and a bedroom. Everything was clean. As a Hyatt GP Diamond member I had access to the Regency Club, where a standard continental breakfast was served in the morning. During the day it was possible to pick up refreshments here. The staff working in the lobby and in the was Regency Club was very friendly, will return here next time I am in the San Jose area.

What a great experience! The hub and I stayed hear during a recent trip up to the Bay Area for an interview. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-kept. The hotel is in a good location in Santa Clara. I have absolutely no complaints!
