“Simple, No nonsense place with good food”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

Other than this is an extremely popular place, it has very few parking spots, so we always get there at 11am for lunch or before 6-6:30pm for dinner. After that, it gets full quickly plus you will have hard time looking for place to park.

The place can get noisy because it is always full of customers. It has the no-nonsense style service but the food is good. Our favorites are:
- Special Egg Tofu with Assorted Vegetables
- Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup
- Rice Noodle Roll with Assorted Mushrooms
- Rice Noodle Roll with Flour Crisp
- Hong Kong Style Egg Puff

The food here is very consistent with no surprises. That is the key.

“Extensive menu to select from”
Reviewed March 22, 2012 via mobile

There are items on the menu that other Chinese restaurants don't have. Seating is similar to sidewalk eating. Noise level is high when busy. Parking is very limited, look for street parking, avoid busy times or go early.
Food is very good and is served in a timely manner. Costs are very reasonable and we saw a lot of professional people eating here. We want to come back to try other dishes!

“Great Cantonese”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

Get there early, before 6:30 on a week night. The locals know this place well. Great Beijing Duck, great hand made dumplings. This is a no fuss, cash only, table service kind of place. In, order, eat, pay, out. No lingering. But great menu, good sized portions for great prices. Parking is very limited.

“Probably the best HK style 'fast' food in south bay”
Reviewed January 6, 2012

Great find for authentic HK style Cantonese food.

First off, cons: Very very limited parking! Small parking lot, so park on street or across where Wells Fargo is. And it can get really busy during meal times, come early!! Ok, that's out of the way...

(Tip: CASH ONLY!! Again, Wells Fargo ATMs are across the street)

Great HK style food! My faves are the rice noodle rolls with shrimps (shrimps are fresh), roast duck lo mein, braised beef brisket lo mein, sliced fish congee.

Try the HK egg puffs! They are fried fresh, and taste best hot and fresh. Kind of like Chinese version of a donut, but lighter in texture. Powdered with sugar. A little oily for sure but that's probably why it's so good!

Service, once seated, is quick, as they want to turn the tables quickly due to people waiting at the door. Typical in HK too, so don't get too upset if they seem very eager to clear the tables of finished dishes and want you out of the table quickly.
