I went on the tour this past weekend as a girls' trip with 3 friends and we had a great time. Brian picked us up at our hotel on time and was really friendly as were the other people on the tour (another group of women). On the drive from Santa Barbara he talked about how the vineyards we would be visiting practiced organic and/or biodynamic farming and was very knowledgable about the wine produced in the area. Brian explained the basics of tasting wine and walked us through the wine making process at one of the vineyards, which was fun to see. We tasted about 6 wines at each location and had a nice lunch at one of the vineyards. By the end of the tour we were all in a wine-enduced haze of happiness and thought the price for the day of tasting and being chauffeured around wine country was totally worth it. The locations we went to were beautiful, the wine was good, and Brian was a great host encouraging conversation and answering all our questions with a sense of humor as well as intelligence.

I decided to go on a this wine tour because I am interested in learning more about wine in general, but am also interested in the organic/sustainable wine industry and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to combine both those interests. Bryan, our awesome tour guide, picked us up on a rainy morning at our hotel. Immediately I felt comfortalbe with the mellow music he played and the comfy van he drove us around in. The wineries that we visited were awesome! The winemakers and Bryan were super knowledgable answering all of our questions. The lunch provided was also delicious!
I would totally recommend this wine tour to anyone who wants to learn about sustainable and organic wines, but also wants to have a great time in beautiful Santa Barbara!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. Our guide, Brian, was amazingly informative and at the same time entertaining. The wineries we visited were fantastic, lunch was delicious, the van was comfortable, and everybody had a great time. I can't imagine a better way to experience the sustainable wine of Santa Barbara county.

I booked this tour with my boyfriend over Halloween weekend. We ended up getting a private tour, even though Bryan usually books a minimum of 4 on his tours. After talking with us a little about what wines we prefer, he decided where to take us that would offer wines we'd enjoy. We visited Presidio tasting room in Solvang first, followed by the Alma Rosa Winery and Vineyard, where we had a delcious lunch and bottle of wine. We even got to walk in the vineyard and find bunches of grapes still hanging off the vines and taste them (this is the end of harvest time, but there were still grapes to be found.) Yum! And finally to this gorgeous out-of-way winery called Demetria Estate, that only offers tastings by appointment. We sat on this beautiful courtyard with an amazing view for the tastings. Then we got a tour of the winery and cellar and learned a lot of info on biodynamic wine-making. It was truly a wonderful day. Bryan is a great tour guide and has created a unique, fun and educational tour. Highly recommended!
