Went to their location on north State Street where mostly locals eat. Great selections and moderately priced. You order from the counter then take your number to your table (or limited counter seat). Although there were tables outside, place fills up fast and parking is limited. Food was good and liked almost everything that was coming out of the kitchen. Would return!

Such a treat after the morning rush people are gone to go to a great bakery. Our favorite breakfast is the house made granola, yogurt and fresh fruit. It's not a little sprinkling of granola for crisp's sake, it's spoon some of the yogurt into the granola bowl, dump some of the fruit in and enjoy your toasted granola/nuts/seeds with a little of the extras. We even buy bags of the granola at the counter to keep in our freezer and use for special breakfasts at home. Sombreros are a cinnamon and sugar bun that is light and fresh. Their scones are great. Sitting in Santa Barbara, letting the warm sun warm your body on a spring morning... priceless.

I had read a review that Jeannine's baked the best lemon bars ever. Although we did not have a meal here, we did purchase a lemon bar and a brownie as afternoon treats. The lemon bar was such a tasty combination of sweet and tart flavors (loved the lemon zest) and the brownie was rich but not to excess. The pastry servings were huge! We'd stop here again when in Santa Barbara.

This was an excellent breakfast. The atmosphere was lively though a bit too noisy inside for our tastes. Next time we will sit outside. We were there at 8:15 am on a Sunday morning and if we had waited past 8:30, there would have been a wait but I can see why. It's obviously a very popular place to be by both the locals and tourists like us. My spring omelet was one of the best omelets I've had. They obviously took great pride in their food and it's presentation. We'll be back her again!

Cute little place. It gets crowded and parking may be challenging, but well worth it. I had the California chicken salad and my husband had the club sandwich. The portions were generous and unfortunately we didn't have any room left for dessert because we were stuffed. The baked goods looked so yummy...guess we have to go back next time were in the area!
