My husband and I stayed here on our road trip up Hwy 1! We actually found Harbor View Inn on this site! The management went out of their way to help us! We stayed in the suite overlooking the pier! It was a great room and experience! Daniel was a huge help to us!

The room is AMAZING! We had a balcony overlooking the sea front and the room was so lovely we didn't go out in the evening. The bathrooms are huge with the deepest bath I've ever seen and an incredible shower with lovely Molton brown toiletries. There is a sofa area and a little desk and the bed is so comfortable. The service was also fantastic. We were very sad to leave and would love to return!
Santa Barbara is beautiful and this is the location you want to be in
great modern rooms and restaurants within the hotel.

Perfect place ocean front, service was good and room was good as well. It was overpriced based on týpe of accomodations, though, we expected nicer rooms for the price we paid. Some roms may be far from receptin, make sure ou ask for a room in the first buildings.
Its got a good central location, right by the pier, and walking distance to downtown.
The rooms were spacious and well maintained. We ate at the restaurant/diner that is next door, which is pretty average, but convient.
The Harbor View Inn is a nice place to stay, you can't beat the location for the beach, pier and State street. The room is not upscale or cool in any way but certainly just fine and I am a picky person. The bathroom just looked a tad dreary, at least in our room but it was super clean and good enough for our 2 day stay. When we checked in the associate was not overly welcoming or friendly, but she was ok. This was our first trip to Santa Barbara so I don't have anything else to compare it to. I would stay there again for sure given the convenience. I think it's a good value which is not a term I often use. Yes, I usually like a more modern hotel but this place still works really well. It's "nice."
