Brisas Del Mar is reminiscent of how I believe all businesses used to be run a few generations ago. I can't begin to express my satisfaction in every way with this family owned Inn. I called William at 10:30 and he was so kind and offered us the best suite they have at a really amazing price. The room did not disappoint. There are 4 Inns run by the same family and These people know what they are doing! I wish more business were run like this in America today! William and Allen you are amazing. Thank you so much.

Arriving at the quaint and cozy hotel, we were welcomed with wine and cheese and a bottle of champagne in our room (just a few of the great ammenities that come with the stay). William, the concierge, greeted us and was absolutely amazing. He was very helpful and thoughtful the entire stay. The location was just a short walking distance to good restaurants and the harbor...for the longer trips, the hotel has beach cruisers for the use of the guests. Overall it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for one night. We hadn't booked so it was a last minute walk in and we got the last room available. The guy on reception was so helpful and let us look at the room first. The room was beautifully decorated with a separate dressing room and a lovely shower room. The reception area and lounge are also beautifully decorated with a nice fireplace giving a cosy atmosphere. There were lots of nice extras, like complimentary sparkling wine in the room, a wine and cheese reception after we'd arrived, and cookies and milk in the lounge later on. The pool area is lovely with a hot tub and small gym. We would have loved to have stayed for more than one night, but were passing through the area whilst travelling through California. If we're ever back in the area we would definitely head straight for this place again.

For years I have buzzed pass this place and never given it a look. From the street, it doesn't look like much. Thanks to a revised website, and favorable price I gave it a try. Doesn't take much to please me in Santa Barbara. You are a two block walk to the beach, 4 blocks from State Street and NOT anywhere hear any noisy train tracks. The room I stayed in was a small apartment. It was huge. I could have lived there. The places that tell you it's Santa Barbara, you don't need air conditioning, don't have air conditioning. No it's not the Desert. But the construction of some of the older buildings, notoriously cook up. Brisas Del Mar has ample Air Con to go along with ceiling fans. Since this is an INN and not a Corporate Hotel the front desk staff are more like neighbors or friends. If the price is right, and you don't have to be right on the water, you can be 3 blocks from the water, at a much more reasonable price.

After searching for a perfect getaway, we decided to book at the Brisas Del Mar. What a great choice! We were greeted graciously by William upon arrival who was by far the most helpful, personable, and most importantly, pleasant concierge we've ever encountered. Any questions or suggestions of places to check out, William was our guy. We couldn't have been more impressed with him. The rooms were spacious, location was fabulous, and cleanliness/up-keep of the place was incredible. We were most impressed. In addition, the complimentary wine and cheese late afternoon, and the complimentary milk and cookies in the evening were a thoughtful touch. Great place, we will be back for sure!

Greetings Elizabeth,

I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your recent stay with us at the Brisas del Mar. It sounds like you received William’s signature service. We are truly lucky to have a hotel team who genuinely care about the quality of service we provide each of our guests. I am also pleased to hear you had the opportunity to enjoy our complimentary continental breakfast, the afternoon wine & cheese reception, and our evening’s freshly baked cookies with milk. We hope to see you again this summer for our many festivals and parades. Warmly, Greg Broussard – General Manager.

We arrived just as the complimentary wine and cheese tasting was starting in the lobby, to be greeted by the incredibly friendly and helpful William. We checked into our room, with complimentary DVD library and bottle of Californian bubbles, the room being nicely set up with all we needed. The exterior is a little dated, but cleanliness and function were top notch..
A later return to the lobby saw us enjoy the offering of fresh cookies and pastries (yum!) while we got some great walking tour advice from William.
The next day we enjoyed breakfast, and while checking out arranged free bike hire for 4 hours from the lovely Jane at the front desk. Make use of the bikes, a ride along the beachfront and the main State Street was a great tonic.
BDM is. Great find, book and enjoy!

Great location 2 blocks from the beach. (About a 10 minute walk to the main section of town) Comfortable, large rooms. Incredibly friendly employees, free parking, free bike rentals, pool, bottle of champagne on arrival. Theres a tasty cheese/wine happy hour and milk cookies at night. Breakfast was a little limited, but still tasty. Would definitely go back. Great value for the area - when i booked the room, it was actually cheaper than the Holiday Inn, and I got way more value too.
