We arrived early evening and , after being sorted out by the great receptionist, we were treated to a complimentary cheese and wine evening. A great way to start any hotel stay. Children were later treated to milk and cookies with choices of board games and DVDs. The harbour , State Street and other sights were a short 20 minute walk and well worth the visit. We were lucky enough to visit when the Santa Barbara Fiesta was on - what an incredible experience - over 100 horses , floats and mariachi bands. Well recommended. The hotel was really pretty with flowers and trees in abundance , the rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was fine. The patio area was an excellent place to take breakfast and socialise with other residents. A totally wonderful stay. Many thanks.

Location is great, reception staff member was fantastic and very helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. This is a quaint little Inn and despite its competition with other larger hoteliers etc… it rates highly for great customer service and going that extra mile for its guests.
The property, overall, is nice given its location, room size, price, and accommodation. The complimentary breakfast is a lot better than the average in terms of variety and quality. I would recommend it if you don't want to spend a fortune but still close to the water front and everything else in Santa Barbara.
Positive: great hot tub, super friendly staff, complementary food and drink at different times of the day. Reception was helpful and knowledgeable about places to go for dinner etc. Negative: lobby is not very big so can get crowded at breakfast time.

We are driving from San Diego to San Francisco and this inn in Santa Barbara is cute and has character. The man on reception was so helpful and welcoming and gave us lots of advice on where to go. The little extras like wine & cheese and cookies & milk in the evening was appreciated. The rooms are big and the location is 5 minutes walk to the beach. A visit to the courthouse is a must as well. Would definitely return.
